May 2015 — Vietnam’s only golf tourism collective, Golf Coast Vietnam, has added a new resort member to add further impetus to the Danang region’s international appeal.
Angsana Lang Co, part of the Banyan Tree complex that includes the acclaimed Laguna Lang Co golf course, becomes the fourth resort member of Golf Coast Vietnam and the first outside the Danang-Hoi An axis.
Angsana Lang Co is a modern retreat with 229 suites (more than 100 with a private pool) ranging from 52 to 179 square metres, nestled in a seaside landscape of unspoiled natural beauty, 60 minutes’ drive from Danang International Airport.
Angsana Lang Co’s contemporary buildings and stylish interiors complement the resort’s pristine surroundings near the shore of Canh Duong beach. Laguna Lang Co Golf Club, a par-71 championship course designed by Sir Nick Faldo, is just a short walk or golf buggy ride from the resort lobby.
Angsana Lang Co has three dining options and two bars, a spa that places special emphasis on natural ingredients, numerous water sport activities, archery, mountain biking and a kid’s club, as well as meeting and conference facilities.
The chairman of Golf Coast Vietnam, Joe Millar, has welcomed Angsana Lang Co’s participation in the group.
“The Danang region is a world-class golf tourism destination that is growing rapidly in stature. The inclusion of a property as appealing as Angsana Lang Co is a wonderful addition to our group,” he said. “Golfers who want a wonderful experience on and off the course in a delightful, relaxing setting should include Angsana Lang Co in their accommodation plans.”
Other resort members of Golf Coast Vietnam are Fusion Maia, The Ocean Villas and Pullman Danang Beach Resort, all on My Khe beach between Danang and Hoi An.
Golf club members are Montgomerie Links Vietnam, Danang Golf Club and Laguna Lang Co.
